Corpus Christi is getting a major upgrade, and CE is proud to be a big part of it. By integrating the Toshiba Carrier Single-Phase VRF System into many of the commercial and residential buildings joining the community, we are able to provide the business owners and residents with incredible energy efficiency, superior zoning capabilities, and the ability to heat and cool simultaneously.
Details of the Cinnamon Shore Expansion In Corpus Christi
Sea Oats Group is the developer behind Cinnamon Shore, and they have plans to bring one billion dollars of additional developments to the up and coming community in Corpus Christi. Their vision includes three new subdivisions, with approximately 1,000 new structures, on a total of 234 acres of land. These structures include single-family homes, condos, apartment complexes, retail shopping centers, and more. As currently documented, the venture should take over 15 years for completion. The first project is an area called “Memories at Cinnamon Shore,” which will include over 200 single-family homes, as well as condominiums, retail buildings, office buildings, and cottages.
Toshiba Carrier VRF Brings Building Automation to a New Level
With all of these structures being built, there is a lot of HVAC equipment that needs to be installed. That’s where we come in. Mixed use facilities and multi-family residences are a huge part of the Cinnamon Shore landscape, and with the help of the Toshiba Carrier VRF system, these spaces can be easily heated and cooled with only one system per building.
With the Toshiba Carrier VRF technology, buildings with small work offices and large lobbies can all be kept at the optimal temperature with extreme efficiency. The zoning capabilities of the Toshiba Carrier VRF technology also help condo owners easily monitor how much energy each tenant is using, while letting each of them keep their homes at the perfect temperature.
By combining the Toshiba Carrier VRF technology with the Carrier i-Vu Building Automation System, we are making Cinnamon Shore one of the most advanced HVAC developments in the state of Texas. With our building automation and Toshiba Carrier VRF technology, building owners will be able to instantly see a comprehensive view of the heating and cooling needs of the entire building. Maintaining comfortable temperatures is effortless—even if the needs in each room are dramatically different—and energy usage will be optimized at every turn. In fact, a 70% reduction in energy costs versus standard HVAC equipment is not unheard of. And while the i-Vu was created to work flawlessly with Carrier equipment, it can also control any other HVAC equipment that is installed.
Even though the Cinnamon Shore project is just getting underway, we are excited to see how our VRF technology and building automation can help improve the lives of the residents and business owners in Corpus Christi.
